It was not a good day for Bade Boomer. As we were looking for a place to anchor in the Benjamin Islands, they hit some rocks. They had a vibration, so they immediately headed to Gore Bay to get it fixed. What a sad way to end our travels with them!
The rest of the looper train anchored in Benjamin Bay, dropped our dinghies, and took a ride to explore the beautiful area. There were lots of boats, and at 5:00 there was an impromptu get together for all of the loopers. There were about 20 of us who gathered on one of the huge flat rocks. It was a gorgeous setting for appetizers and drinks. It was fun to discover where everyone had been and where they were planning to go.
We have been to the Benjamin Islands before, and it remains one of our all time favorite places.
Total miles: 21 Total bridges: 0 Total locks: 0
Hi, I just found your site. We are currently in Pickwick at Grand Harbor. We hope to catch up with Fred Myers this evening and gain some advice for the Tenn Tom. Looks like we refer to your blog for advice, too. Hope you are enjoying your northern summer.
