Day 137 Snook Bight Marina,
Fort Myers Beach, FL
Saturday, January 8, 2011
Another beautiful 70-something day with sunny skies. It’s great to wear shorts and t-shirts in January! In the late afternoon we caught the trolley and rode to The Schnitzel House in Fort Myers for dinner. Of course, we had to stop at the nearby West Marine before we ate.
The Schnitzel House features sauerbraten on Fridays and Saturdays. It was tender and delicious! We caught the trolley back to Snook Bight and had a quiet evening onboard.

Day 136 Snook Bight Marina,
Fort Myers Beach, FL
Friday, January 7, 2011
A beautiful, sunny day with temps in the 70’s. We got some things done around the boat, and then took Dream Catcher for a short ride up Estero Bay to Ballard Oil to fill up with diesel. We received another box of mail from home, so it was fun to read Christmas cards!

View from the condo
It rained for most of the day, but we were cozy and comfortable on Dream Catcher. About 3:30 Tom and Diann picked us up. We stopped at West Marine for a little shopping and then headed to Mark and Geneva Fensterbusch’s condo in Cape Coral. Mark and Geneva are vacationing for a few weeks, and it was fun to see more familiar faces from home. Their condo is gorgeous with fantastic views of the Caloosahatchee River. Al and Sue Fensterbusch joined us, and all of us enjoyed appetizers and cocktails before dinner. Marker 92 is the restaurant at the complex, so we were able to see the pool, marina, and gardens on our walk to dinner. What a beautiful area. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed a fun evening.
