Gorgeous anchorage on the Harpeth River

A long boating day:  we were up before sunrise, pulled anchor, and headed out at 6:45 am.   It was another beautiful day on the Cumberland River.  At 11:30 we arrived at Clarksville, Tennessee, and decided to explore the downtown historic district.   We left Clarksville about 1:00 and arrived at Cheatham Lock and Dam around 4:30.  We locked through by 5:15.  We found a great anchorage about 6 miles past the dam just off the Cumberland at the mouth of the Harpeth River.
Total miles: 63.5    Total bridges:  3   Total locks:  1
